My wedding outfit

Hey guys!

no worries - it wasn't me that got married, it was my cousins big day yesterday. Though I don't have that many pictures to post about it, simply because I'd like to keep my family kind of private, I spontaneously decided to write a little post about it to show you my outfit and tell you a little bit about the day I've had.

My cousins wedding was quiet different to what you would expect of a wedding, it wasn't traditional at all. I mean sure, she wore a white dress, but that's about it. She and her fiance got married in a zoo. Yup, a zoo. For those of you now thinking 'um, what?', trust me I have been there after reading the invitation. Still, the ceremony was actually pretty nice (and special). They got married in a elephant house with an actual elephant being there the whole time and I've learnt yesterday that this is not a rare thing. A lot of couples who connect lots of good times together with the zoo like to get married there and the program they have for the loving couple is quiet cool. They get to take wedding pictures with posing elephants, snow owls (like Harry Potter's Hedwig) and see eagles (which I as a half american love). Talking about being individual! Plus, the guests were allowed to feed the elephants and guess who was lining up with all the children to do that? Exactly. Me. 20 years old and it was awesome. Check of my bucket list!

here's a picture of me feeding the elephant
After all we had a pretty good day, we went to a nice little restaurant after the zoo visit and had a nice traditional german dinner there (and yummy wedding cake). Getting married in the zoo isn't something I would like my wedding to be like in the future, but it was fun and nice and different and different is not a bad thing. I am so glad that my cousin is happy!

Here a little picture of what my hair and make-up looked like yesterday. I decided to go for same curls in my hair, which I made with a normal curling wand and made sure they stayed like this by using the L'Oreal Paris Elnett de Luxe extra strong hairspray. Usually my hair stays curly for about 30 minutes when I curl them, just because I have really thick hair, but with that hairspray the curls last until I got home 11 hours later! I am totally convinced by L'Oreal now.
For my make up I used my Rimmel London Wake Me Up foundation, Rimmel London Stay Matte powder, and Rimmel London Wake Me Up concealer. The blush I used is by Revlon, my mascara is the Maybelline New York Falsies Volume Express mascara and last but not least, my lipstick is a Rimmel London Long Lasting Color Balm in the color "Rumour has it" (by the way, just like my curls my lipstick also last until I got home).

I hope you enjoyed this little post and you liked my outfit, hair and make up.

xx,
L.
