I am so sorry that you had to wait so long for a new post, but things have been a little bit stressful lately. I had to study a lot and every time I had a little bit time to blog or shoot some pictures the weather or the light weren't good. But here I am again! One of my close friends asked me to do a post about my shoes and I thought "why not?". I have a lot of shoes, but I never saw myself as a shoeaholic until a couple months ago when I realized that I really was one. I am going to show you my shoes, not only my favorites but also shoes I don't wear that often (which doesn't mean I don't love them, I love all my shoes!). I am going to start of with showing you my sneakers, boots and other flats. My heels and summer shoes will be presented in following posts.
Converse Chuck Taylor Classic Colors 36€ / 50$ |
My Converse are definitely on my top 5 list. They are so comfortable and fashionable at the same time. You can wear them with everything! Jeans, leggings, shorts, dresses and skirts. I think everyone should own at least a pair of Converse, doesn't matter in what color or if low or high ones.
Vans Authentic Lo-Pro 35€ / 48$ |
Also on my top 5 lists are my Vans. I got them in January and have worn them as much as possible as it got warmer. They are super comfortable and like my Converse you can combine them with so many things! I like them best in white, simply because I find them especially cute in that color.
Bianco short riding boots |
Another favorite of mine and probably my most worn shoes are my Bianco boots. They are so stylish and comfy, I can wear them all day long and my feed won't hurt. I like to wear them with jeans (doesn't matter which top I combine) or leggings with over-size shirts.
Nike Vortex 90€ / 124$ |
Of course my top 5 lists can't miss a pair of Nike sneakers! These are my favorite Nike shoes. They are called Nike Vortex and I love them. They are super stylish and very comfortable. Sadly mine seem to be sold out everywhere, but you can get them in a lot of different colors and designs. I will probably get another pair in the future.
Buffalo Ankle boots 99€ / 136$ |
My Buffalo boots are my all time favorite "higher" shoes. They are so comfortable, the only shoes that can compete with them are one of my Kurt Geiger pairs. Those boots are of such a good quality. They are perfect. I love to wear them, doesn't matter if it is in the evening or when I go shopping. I like to wear them with jeans, leggings or dresses - they are just great to combine with. I've bought them a few years ago, but you should check out Buffalo stores or the homepage to get similar ones if you're interested.
Nike Free 80€ / 110$ |
Nike Running shoe 60$ |
What I love about my Nike shoes is simply that they are stylish and comfortable at the same time. Comfort is most important for me when I buy new shoes. I like how colorful my sneakers are and I love to wear them with simply colors like black, white and grey. I also wear the purple ones sometimes when I go to the gym, which is also super comfortable. Those shoes survived me and my friends climbing up a glacier in Norway, meaning the quality is pretty good!
Sperry Billfish Alternative Closure Boat Shoe |
I bought those Sperry's last summer in the boy kids section (I have really small feet) because I liked them so much and if you ask me they don't look like typical man shoes at all - more like unisex shoes. I don't think they sell mine anymore, but I found similar shoes here. Like most my other shoes they are really comfortable and I like to wear them with jeans, leggings and shorts. They don't make your feet sweaty when you wear them during the summer, which is also a positive thing. I can't wear to wear those stylish babies more this summer.
American Eagle lined ballerinas |
I bought those beautiful ballerinas when I stayed at my friends house over Christmas 2010 at American Eagle. Since then I have worn them every single winter and though they're slowly a little worn out they still keep my feet warm in the winter - believe it or not. I definitely need to get a new pair this winter!
EMU boots 159€ / 215$ |
Dr. Martens winter boots 149€ / 205$ |
I got my EMU boots in around winter 2010 and my Dr. Martens winter boots in October 2013 and I love them both a lot. Like my American Eagle flats my EMU boots are pretty worn out, but they are so, so comfortable and my feet feel like they're in heaven when I wear them. I never got cold while wearing them and the EMU boots are a nice, little cheaper, version of UGG boots.
I like my Dr. Martens boots a lot because they are not only lined, which means I could wear them all the time in winter no matter how cold it was, but also super stylish. I think at the moment you can't get them lined, but I found an unlined version here.
H&M ankle boots 39€ / 53$ |
My H&M ankle boots are from last season and though I don't wear them that much I like them a lot. I get complimented on them every time I wear them out for drinks or dinner and I like to combine them with my Mulberry or Louis Vuitton bag. They are pretty classy, that's why I like to wear them with high-waisted black jeans and a chic shirt. They are comfortable, but after a while your feet kind of start hurting a little bit. You can get similar ones from this season here.
Buffalo ankle boots 99€ / 136$ |
Last but not least my second pair of Buffalo boots! Just like my other Buffalo's this ones are super comfortable and great to wear at any time a day. I like them especially because they look so different to normal ankle boots. The leather of the top half of the shoe looks like it protrudes which I find pretty cool. I can highly recommend Buffalo, just as Kurt Geiger, for sure!
The other day I edited some of my older posts and linked most of the outfits or products for you to pages for you can find them or similar ones, in case you really like something I present and you'd like to get it as well. I will do that from now on to make it easier for you guys. Sometimes I can't find even similar ones simply because the product might be a little bit older or it's not getting produced anymore.
I hope you liked this post and some of my shoes. Hopefully you are already excited for the next (shoe)post. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me via e-mail germerican-lj@gmx.de or on Twitter.
xx,
L.
