You had me at pasta

Love goes through the stomach. I don't think that I have ever met a person that doesn't like pasta. Personally, pasta (especially spaghetti) is one of my favorite food. You can eat with so many different sauces and spice and cheese, what's there not to like? I am not a big fan of tomato sauce, that's why I like to try out new pasta sauces and recipes. Today I would like to show you how to make my (currently) pasta favorite.
It's kind of a pasta olio, but without garlic and pepperoni.

Ingredients
Pasta (spaghetti, penne or fussili), I always use normal or wholemeal spaghetti
Tomatoes
Olive oil
Pepper
Salt
Garlic salt (you can as well use actual garlic instead)

pepper, salt, garlic salt, olive oil & wholemeal spaghetti
First of all you cook the pasta like you always do and while you're waiting for your pasta to be done you start cutting the tomatos.

Cut the tomatoes in small pieces, so you can better stir them around the pasta once you put them into a pan later.

As soon as the pasta is "al dente" you take the olive oil and put some in a pan. Then you take the finished noodles and put as many as you want into the pan as well and put the tomatoes and a little bit of the spice on top.

the pan before & after putting the ingredients in
When you're done putting all the ingredients into the pan you turn the heat of the cooking plate/ hot plate on a low heat and stir everything around for a couple of minutes.

Just make sure you don't burn the pasta or the tomatoes.

Voila!

you can also put a little bit of parmesan cheese on top
You see, cooking this doesn't take much longer than 15 minutes and it is sooo delicious! I could eat it all the time. If you re-cook this, let me know how it worked for you and if you liked it. Also, I want to know what is YOUR favorite kind of pasta or food in general?

I hope you like this post and if you have any questions or suggestions please don't hesitate to send me an e-mail to germerican-lj@gmx.de or send my a tweet to germerican_lj

xx,
L.
